BidAngel

About BidAngel

Our Mission

BidAngel exists to bring operational discipline to how suppliers respond to structured procurement. The opportunity is discoverable — what's still broken is the response motion. We are building bid and proposal management software that closes that gap.

Why This Category

Procurement intelligence tools help you find opportunities. RFP writing copilots help you draft faster. Neither gives bidding teams a workflow system of attestation for the full arc — from signal discovery to qualification to requirements extraction to response orchestration to institutional learning, with claim-level provenance, authority, and freshness state at every step. BidAngel does.

Why Government First

Government procurement is the cleanest data wedge: structured solicitations, explicit requirements, published evaluation criteria, mandatory compliance, and public award data. We start where the signal is strongest and expand where quality is maintained. SAP-originated enterprise procurement is the first adjacency.

Why Governed Agent Workflows

Work is increasingly performed by both humans and software agents. Procurement workflows are high-stakes — they involve compliance obligations, financial commitments, and organizational reputation. Our platform exposes a governed operating surface where agents act through typed tools, consequential actions require approval, and every operation is auditable. Agent-operable, not agent-dependent.

Our Posture

We are building enterprise software, not a demo. Sober, capable, precise. No inflated AI buzzwords, no empty automation promises. The value comes from workflow discipline, structured data, and institutional knowledge compounding over time.

Brian has more than 25 years of experience across management and technology consulting, software engineering, banking, government, and enterprise technology.

As a former partner in a management consulting firm, he led technology programs, software delivery, and complex transformations with budgets in the tens of millions, across many industries. He has worked on procurement, proposal development, and bid management from both sides of the table, as buyer and as vendor.

Brian founded BidAngel to connect the steps between finding an opportunity and submitting a compliant bid, which are usually spread across separate tools. He is also building for a procurement market in which AI agents increasingly take part alongside people and organizations.
